The current Central Committee was formed in 2021 and is responsible for establishing the platform for the local party, endorsing libertarian candidates, and promotion of libertarian ideas and philosophy.

The Club is the responsible for expanding the Libertarian Party locally, fundraising to support candidates and local initiatives, and promoting libertarian ideas.

The Missouri Libertarian Party was originally recognized in 1972. The central committee meets monthly and the state party holds an annual convention.

The National Libertarian Party supports local affiliate parties and libertarian candidates. They are also responsible for nominating a libertarian candidate for President.
Lincoln COunty Libertarian Platform
In addition to the National and State Libertarian Party Platforms and in affirmation of the traditional respect for individual life, liberty, and property, the members of the Lincoln County promote the following:
EDUCATION
- Responsibility and authority for the education of children belongs with parents.
- Restore local control of all schools.
- Remove restrictions on home schooling.
- Repeal all Federal and State education mandates.
ELECTIONS
- Fair elections are the cornerstone of the democratic process.
- Encourage residents of Lincoln County to vote.
- Provide opportunities for voters to learn about the candidates and ballot measures.
- Endorse Libertarian candidates for local offices.
TAXES
- Taxes remove revenue from productive uses by force, allocating them less efficiently, and provide the resources for political corruption.
- Eliminate personal property taxes.
- All state and local government functions should, where possible, be funded by user fees.
TRANSPARENCY
- The workings of government should be transparent and elected officials should be accountable to the voters of Lincoln County whom they represent.
- Follow up with elected officials and track their voting record while in office.
- Encourage voters to attend local meetings and engage with their representatives.
